These branches are used for extinguishing hatching fires in grain and sawdust magazines, for preventing spontaneous combustion of siloed fodder, straw and hay, as well as for cooling stored coal.
The pipe can penetrate to a depth of 2,7 m in order to inject water through bores drilled into the periphery of the pipe. The operating angle is therefore 3600. The material is cooled with water, thus preventing spontaneous combustion.
The quoted flow Q is achieved at a pressure of 5 to 8 bars at the branch.
